Common questions
Do I need experience to join?
Not at all. Our tours are designed for complete beginners. Every session starts with a paddling briefing on the water. If you can sit in a chair and hold a paddle, you’re ready.
What should I bring?
Wear comfortable clothes you don’t mind getting slightly wet. Bring sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses and a water bottle. All kayaking gear and safety equipment is provided.
What if the weather is bad?
Safety is our top priority. If conditions aren’t safe, we’ll contact you to reschedule or provide a full refund. We monitor forecasts closely and never compromise on safety.
Do we really kayak past the Opera House?
Yes. Our route takes you past Garden Island, around Fort Denison, and directly toward the Opera House and Harbour Bridge. It’s not a backdrop — it’s right there in front of you.
